The Vista House at Rock Basin Vineyards is an all new 1300+ square foot two bedroom vacation home in the picturesque Las Pilitas Valley of Santa Margarita, California. Located an easy 20 minute commute from San Luis Obispo, the Vista House can sleep up to five visitors. The spacious double master suite layout features a luxurious queen size bed in one master bedroom and the second suite is equipped with a double size bed and a twin bed. A roll away bed is also available. The double master suite floor plan is perfect for two couples traveling together with the fully equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms in the middle of the house and the bedrooms on the opposite ends. One bathroom has an elegant oval soaking tub and walk-in stall shower.
The front and back yards feature concrete patios with plenty of outdoor furniture for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the valley. The big Weber BBQ comes with charcoal, oak bark and lighter fluid supplied. The pastoral views take in the mountains, vineyards, pond and orchard. Fresh fruit, honey and herbs are available seasonally.
The furnishings are a mixture of modern and antique pieces with many original art works. The covered front porch or patios are the perfect spot for viewing some of our abundant wildlife and birds. You can enjoy a relaxing game of croquet (equipment included) on the expansive lawns. Your stay includes complimentary wine from our cellars and a welcome basket with many fresh and local goodies. There is ample parking for vehicles and the largest RV's.
We are located between the historic town of Santa Margarita, known for its antique shops and auctions and picturesque Santa Margarita Lake and Park with fishing and miles of back country trails. The homes are available for weddings, garden parties, meetings, retreats, workshops, seminars, reunions and for groups up to 150 people.
